Just a couple more

I was finally able to figure out how to scan pictures on my printer on Sunday and so I have been scanning pictures of ancestors as well as some of our older pictures. I thought I would post a couple. Have a great day!

On Saturday Daren and I got to babysit Norah while Nathan and Claire went out. We had a lot of fun. On Sunday Nathan, Claire and Norah went to church with us and stayed for dinner. We really enjoyed having them. Here are a couple of picture taken while they were here.

Trip to St. George

I'm finally back at posting information on my blog. I had about a full month and maybe six weeks of bad headaches--a headache every day and migraines several times a week. I was finally put on antibiotics for an infected bone graft and within 24 hours got rid of my headache and 6 out of the last 7 days have been headache free. Yeah!!
Last week Daren and I went to St. George for a principals conference. Daren attended classes and I shopped, read, watched TV or did whatever I felt like. In the evening we could do what we wanted. It was very nice! The weather was beautiful with near 60 degree temperatures.

New Camera!

Yesterday I got a new camera. I am really excited to learn how to use it. It is quite complicated (for me anyway). I bought a book to explain it better and I have been reading it. Back in college I bought a really nice Minolta camera and took classes on photography and even learned to develop film in a dark room. It is nice that we don't have to do that anymore. Hopefully I can start posting some of my pictures. This is a picture of my new camera with me behind it. I had a bad migraine yesterday so I am glad that we can't see details of my hair and face.

Amy just left for Catilion (the senior dance for the year). Today they had a day activity date where they had a video scavenger hunt.After she went to the Fran Brown Beauty College (only it has a different name now) and had her hair done. It is up in the back with lots of curls. I thought I would post a couple of picture.

Sharla is having twins

Sharla finally made it to the doctor for her first appointment and they found a big surprise: twins! What are the chances of two of your daughters having twins their first time? Daren and I were discussing it last night and wondering why none of their cousins have had twins when we realized that twins run in both of our families. Daren's great grandmother Edna Bingham was a twin and my great grandmother had twins. Maybe with both of us together it increases the chance. Well, we are excited for Sharla and Ben!
