Last Thursday Amy graduated from high school. I no longer have any children in public schools. That means no more back-to-school nights, parent-teacher-conferences, lunch money, and everything else that goes along with that. I have mixed feelings. I am grateful that all of my children have graduated from high school and have done as well as they have but I am pretty sad that everyone is growing up and leaving me.
We had a great day with Amy. Here are a few pictures. She went to the senior bash which lasted all night. Congratulations Amy!
She is such a beautiful girl. Hard to believe she is so old. You know enter the next phase of life known as empty nesters. I had a hard time getting use to this phase but it really has it good times. Enjoy each day.

ReplyDeleteAmy, you're going through a hard time in life. We'll help ya through this. It's a rough time, but we're all rooting for you. It's called puberty.
ReplyDeleteJohnny's just mad because he still hasn't even reached it yet. Sorry to you, Johnny. Congratulations on graduating, Amy!
